Windshield Washer Hose Replacement (w/o XA7)

Preliminary Procedure Open and support the hood. Remove the front compartment sight shield. Refer to Front Compartment Sight Shields Replacement . To help aid in the removal and installation of the windshield washer hose, the right front headlamp assembly will need to be removed. Refer to Headlamp Capsule Replacement .
1	Windshield Washer Solvent Container Hose Procedure Place a suitable clean container under the windshield washer solvent container to contain solvent spillage. Remove the washer hose elbow from the windshield washer pump. Disconnect the retainer clips securing the hose to the front upper wheelhouse panel reinforcement. Disconnect the washer hose at the windshield washer solvent heater, if equipped. If not equipped, disconnect the washer pump hose from the windshield washer nozzle hose.

Windshield Washer Solvent Container Hose

Procedure

Place a suitable clean container under the windshield washer solvent container to contain solvent spillage.
Remove the washer hose elbow from the windshield washer pump.
Disconnect the retainer clips securing the hose to the front upper wheelhouse panel reinforcement.
Disconnect the washer hose at the windshield washer solvent heater, if equipped.
If not equipped, disconnect the washer pump hose from the windshield washer nozzle hose.
