Exhaust Manifold Installation - Left Side

Install the exhaust manifold gasket.
Install the exhaust manifold.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Install the exhaust manifold bolts and nuts.
Tighten: Tighten the exhaust manifold bolts and nuts to 57 N.m (42 lb ft) in the proper sequence.

Tighten: Tighten the center exhaust manifold bolts and nuts an additional pass to 57 N.m (42 lb ft) in sequence.

Install the exhaust manifold heat shield.
Install the exhaust manifold heat shield bolts.
Tighten: Tighten the exhaust manifold heat shield bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
