Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the crankshaft balancer. Refer to Crankshaft Balancer Replacement .
  2. Install J 44644  to the crankshaft front oil seal. See Special Tools . The jaws of the J 44644  fit into the inner sleeve. See Special Tools .
  3. Using J 44644  , remove the crankshaft front oil seal. See Special Tools .
