Circuit/System Testing

  1. Turn OFF the ignition and disconnect the water in fuel sensor.
  2. Turn ON the ignition and clear the DTC.
  3. Start and run the engine.
    • If this DTC resets, test the indictor control circuit for high resistance or a short to ground.
    • If the DTC does not reset, refer to Water-in-Fuel Lamp Always On .
