Installation Procedure

- Install the lower control arm (4).
- Install the lower control arm bolts (3).
- Install the washers (2).
- Install the lower control arm retaining nuts (1).
Tighten: Tighten nuts to 175 N.m (129 lb ft).
- Install the torsion bars. Refer to Torsion Bar and Support Assembly Replacement (Bushing Style) or Torsion Bar and Support Assembly Replacement (Link Style) .
- Install the lower ball joint in the steering knuckle.
- Install the wheel drive shaft. Refer to Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement (2500) or Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement (1500) .
- Install the lower ball joint retaining nut.
Tighten: Tighten nuts to 110 N.m (81 lb ft).
- Install the shock module. Refer to Shock Absorber Replacement (2500 Series) .
- Remove the support for the knuckle and upper control arm.
- Install the stabilizer shaft links to the lower control arm. Refer to Stabilizer Shaft Replacement (2500, 3500) or Stabilizer Shaft Replacement (1500) .
- Install the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
- Remove the supports and lower the vehicle.
- Align the front end. Refer to Wheel Alignment Measurement .
