Reverse Idler Gear Disassembly

  1. Remove the retaining ring (1) on the opposite end of the wave washer (6).

  2. Remove the thrust washer (3).
  3. Remove the locating ball (2).
  4. Remove the reverse idler gear (4).
  5. Remove the bearing assembly (5).
  6. Remove the other locating ball (2).
  7. Remove the other thrust washer (3).
  8. Remove the wave washer (6).
  9. Remove the other retaining ring (8).
