Engine Mounting to Stand

CAUTION:
Do not mount the engine to an engine stand by the flywheel housing. The aluminum flywheel housing is not designed to support the weight of the engine when mounted to a typical rear-mount engine stand. Mounting the engine stand to the aluminum flywheel housing may result in engine damage and serious personal injury.
After the flywheel housing has been removed, mount the engine block to a suitable engine stand.
