A Component Comparison from the Previous Year

- The 4.8L LR4 VIN V Gen 3 engine is replaced by the 4.8L LY2 VIN C Gen 4 engine. Refer to Engine Component Description .
- The 5.3L LM7 VIN T, L33 VIN B, and L59 VIN Z Gen 3 engines are replaced by the 5.3L LH6 VIN M, LC9 VIN S, LMG VIN 0, and LY5 VIN J Gen 4 engines. Refer to Engine Component Description .
- The 6.0L LQ4 VIN U and LQ9 VIN N Gen 3 engines are replaced by the 6.0L LY6 VIN K, 6.0L L76 VIN Y, and 6.2L L92 VIN 8 Gen 4 engines. All 3 applications include the camshaft position actuator control system. The L76 application also includes cylinder deactivation active fuel management.
