Front Output Shaft Front and Rear Bearing Replacement

Preliminary Procedure Ensure the bearings are installed squarely on the front output shaft. Using a suitable adapter and an arbor press, remove the bearing assemblies from the front output shaft.
1	Transfer Case Front Output Shaft Rear Bearing Assembly Tip: Using a suitable adapter and an arbor press, install the bearing until the bearing bottoms against the spacer.
2	Transfer Case Front Output Shaft Front Bearing Assembly Tip: Using a suitable adapter and an arbor press, install the bearing until the bearing bottoms on the front output shaft.
3	Transfer Case Front Output Shaft Hole Plug Tip: Using a suitable adapter and an arbor press, remove the front output shaft hole plug by going through the front of the front output shaft. Install the plug using the large side of the DT-48212 . Press the plug until the tool bottoms on the front output shaft. Special Tools DT-48212 Input Shaft Pilot Bearing Installer J 8092 Driver Handle
