Removal Procedure

- Remove the push-in-retainers from the rear quarter panel molding.
- Remove the bolt from the bottom of the rear quarter panel.
- Heat the upper edge of the rear quarter panel molding to 21-32°C (70-90°F).
- Keep the J 25070 at a distance of 152 mm (6 in) from the surface.
- Use the J 25070 in a circular motion for 30 seconds.
- Use a J 41409 in order to strip the upper edge of the rear quarter panel molding from the surface.
- Remove the rear quarter panel molding from the vehicle.
- Remove all of the adhesive from the rear door body-panel using 3M 07502 .
- Clean the rear-door panel-surface. Use naphtha, and allow the surface to air-dry.
