Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 6 other vehicles, including the 2003 GMC Savana Special, 2003 GMC Savana Camper Special, 2003 GMC Savana, 2003 Chevrolet RV Cutaway, and 2003 Chevrolet Cutaway. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Install the center seat belt lower belt (3) to the seat cushion frame.
CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
Install the center seat belt retractor lower bolt (2).
Tighten

Tighten the center seat belt retractor lower bolt (2) to 52 N.m (38 lb ft).
Install the seat cushion cover (1).

Slide the center seat belt retractor into key hole slots in the seat back frame.

Carefully pull the rear seat back trim down enough to expose the center seat belt retractor bolt hole.
Install the center seat belt retractor bolt.
Tighten

Tighten the center seat belt retractor upper bolt to 52 N.m (38 lb ft).

Install the center seat belt retractor trim cover (2).
Install the center seat belt retractor trim cover bolt (1).
Tighten

Tighten the center seat belt retractor trim cover bolt to 1.5 N.m (13 lb in).

Install the center seat belt retractor seat belt opening trim (1).
