Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 6 other vehicles, including the 2003 GMC Savana Special, 2003 GMC Savana Camper Special, 2003 GMC Savana, 2003 Chevrolet RV Cutaway, and 2003 Chevrolet Cutaway. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the I/P extension (1) to the I/P.
    CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Install the screws (3).

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screws (3) to 3 N.m (26 lb in).

  3. Install the nuts (2) that retain the HVAC duct to the I/P extension.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screws (2) to 3 N.m (26 lb in).

  4. Install the I/P upper trim pad. Refer to Trim Pad Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Upper .
  5. Install the knee bolster trim panel. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement - Right .
  6. Enable the SIR. Refer to ZONE 5 .
