Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the heater assembly. Refer to Heater Assembly Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the lower mode actuator (2).
  3. Remove the lower mode actuator (2) from the heater assembly (4).
  4. Remove the linkage from the lower mode actuator (2).
  5. Remove the heater assembly cover screws.
  6. Remove the heater assembly cover.

  7. Remove the lower mode door (1) to the heater assembly (2).
