Removal Procedure

  1. Recover the refrigerant from the A/C system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging .

    Important  : When removing the sealing washers, prevent dirt and foreign material from getting on the sealing surfaces of the washers, fittings or compressor ports. Clean all of the sealing surfaces with a lint-free cloth.

  2. Remove the compressor hose bolt from the compressor.
  3. Remove the compressor hose from the compressor.
  4. Remove the sealing washers.
