Removal Procedure

  1. Install a drain pan under the vehicle.
  2. Siphon the power steering fluid from the reservoir to prevent excessive spillage.
  3. Raise and support the vehicle.
  4. Remove the tire and wheel. Refer to TIRE AND WHEEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  5. Remove the power brake booster inlet hose (2) from the power steering pump (1) through the wheelwell.
  6. Lower the vehicle.

  7. Remove the power brake booster inlet hose (1) from the power brake booster (2).
  8. Remove the power brake booster inlet hose from the vehicle.
