Conditions for Running the DTC

P0716
- DTCs P0101, P0102, P0103, P0121, P0122, P0123, P0716, P0717, P0722, P0723, P0723, P0752, P0973, or P0974 are not set.
- The engine speed is 500 RPM or greater for 5 seconds.
- Engine torque is between 0-1492 N.m (0-1100 lb ft).
- Ignition voltage is 8.6 volts or greater.
- The vehicle speed is greater than 0 km/h (0 mph).
- The throttle position must be greater than 0 percent.
P0717
- DTCs P0101, P0102, P0103, P0716, P0717, P0722, or P0723 are not set.
- The engine speed is 500 RPM or greater for 5 seconds.
- Ignition voltage is 8.6 volts or greater.
- The TCM must receive a valid torque signal from the ECM.
- The vehicle speed is greater than 16 km/h (10 mph).
- The engine torque is greater than 50 N.m (37 lb ft).
