Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the front bumper fascia trim cap. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Trim Cap Replacement (GMC) .
  2. Remove the front headlamps. Refer to Headlamp Replacement (Chevrolet) or Headlamp Replacement (GMC ) or Headlamp Replacement (HD Diesel) .
1 Front Bumper Impact Bar Bracket Nut (Qty: 2)
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten:  50 N.m (37 lb ft)
2 Front Bumper Impact Bar Bracket Bolt (Qty: 2)
3 Front Bumper Impact Bar Bracket Rivet (Qty: 2)
4 Front Bumper Impact Bar Bracket
