Action Taken When the DTC Sets: P0882

Hydraulic default is commanded. Shift selector position and the hydraulic state of the shift valves determines the range. Transmission will shift to neutral if the selector is moved to neutral, transmission will shift to reverse or neutral if the selector is moved to reverse, and the transmission will shift to first, third, fifth or neutral if the selector is moved to a forward range.
The TCM does not request the engine control module (ECM) to illuminate the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL).
DTC P0882 is stored in TCM history.
The TCM inhibits torque converter clutch (TCC) engagement.
Main modulation is disabled.
