Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor: Removal

Turn OFF the ignition. Disconnect the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor electrical connector. See Figure. Remove the accelerator control cable bracket bolt and bracket. Remove the MAP sensor. Inspect the MAP sensor grommet for wear or damage. If a problem is found, replace as necessary.
