Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing Installation

  1. Install the NEW thermostat housing O-ring.

  3. Install the thermostat housing.
  4. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  5. Install the thermostat housing bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the thermostat housing bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  7. Install the NEW thermostat housing assembly O-ring and gasket.

  9. Install the thermostat housing assembly.
  10. Install the thermostat housing assembly bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the thermostat housing assembly bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  12. Install the NEW heater inlet/outlet pipe assembly O-ring and gasket.

  14. Install the heater inlet/outlet pipe assembly.
  15. Install the heater inlet/outlet pipe assembly bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the heater inlet/outlet pipe assembly bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
