Rear Case Assemble

IMPORTANT: Ensure that the rear case housing installation surfaces are free of dirt and sealant.

Apply gear oil to bearing. Use DT-47726 to install bearing (138). See Special Tools .

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Install the bearing retainer (21) and bolt (38).
Tighten: Tighten the bolt to 11.3 N.m (100 lb in).
Install the gasket (29).

Install the oil trough (17).

Using DT-47722 , install the bearing (25) in the rear case. See Special Tools .

Using DT-47725 , install the tapered bearing race (139). See Special Tools .
