Installation Procedure

  1. Inspect the CMP actuator valve seal for damage. Replace the seal if necessary.
    2. Fig 1: View Of Right CMP Actuator Valve - Intake

  2. Install the CMP actuator valve.
    3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  3. Install the CMP actuator valve bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the CMP actuator valve bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  4. Connect the CMP actuator valve electrical connector.
  5. Install the front compartment sight shields as necessary. Refer to Front Compartment Sight Shields Replacement .
