Removal Procedure

    Fig 1: Identifying Vacuum Brake Booster Hose Quick Connect

  1. Release the power brake booster pump hose quick connect (1).
  2. Disconnect the power brake booster pump hose from the auxiliary pump.
  3. Disconnect the power brake booster pump electrical connector.

  4. Remove the power brake booster pump bracket nut (1).

  5. Remove the power brake booster pump bracket bolt (1).
  6. Remove the power brake booster pump from the engine.

  7. Remove the power brake booster pump bolts (1) and nuts (2).

  8. Remove the power brake booster pump insulator sleeves (1).
  9. Remove the power brake booster pump insulators (2).
  10. Release the power brake booster pump electrical harness connector (3) from the bracket and remove the pump.
