Installation Procedure

  1. Position the power steering fluid reservoir outlet hose to the vehicle.
  2. Connect the power steering fluid reservoir outlet hose to the remote power steering fluid reservoir.
  3. Connect the power steering fluid reservoir outlet hose to the power steering pump.
  4. Clean any excess fluid from the vehicle and remove the drain pans.
  5. Install the front air deflector. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement .
  6. Install the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement (LY7) or Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement (LLT) .
  7. Fill and bleed the power steering system. Refer to Power Steering System Bleeding .
