Installation Procedure

  1. Position the power steering fluid cooler (2) to the vehicle.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  3. Install the power steering fluid cooler bracket bolt (1).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).

  4. Install the power steering fluid cooler bracket nut (3).

    Tighten:  Tighten the nut to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).

  5. Secure the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement .

  7. Connect the power steering cooler hose to the power steering fluid cooler.
  8. Clean any excess fluid from the vehicle and remove the drain pans.
  9. Install the front air deflector. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement .
  10. Fill and bleed the power steering system. Refer to Power Steering System Bleeding .
