Up and Down Adjustment

  1. Loosen the fasteners securing the rear compartment lid hinge to the vehicle body.
  2. Move the rear compartment lid in order to adjust it to a flush fit with the vehicle quarter panels.
  3. Tighten the fasteners in order to secure the rear compartment lid hinge to the vehicle body.

    Tighten:  Tighten the rear compartment hinge fasteners to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  4. Close the rear compartment.
  5. Adjusting the rear compartment overslam bumpers may be necessary.
