Preliminary Procedures Disable the SIR system. Refer to Pedestrian Impact Detection System Disabling and Enabling . Remove the hood. Refer to Hood Replacement .
1	Hood Hinge Bolt (Qty: 2) NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Tighten: 25 N.m (19 lb ft)
2	Hood Hinge Bolt Tighten: 25 N.m (19 lb ft)
3	Hood Hinge Procedure Adjust the hood hinge if needed. Refer to Hood Adjustment . If deployed, replace the following parts: Left and right actuator. Refer to Active Hood Hinge Actuator Active Hood Hinge Actuator Replacement Left and right hinge - hood side Left and right hinge - body side Hood Inspection hood latch and subsequent replacement if functionality or appearance is compromised
