Evaporator Temperature Sensor Replacement

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the HVAC module. Refer to HVAC Module Assembly Replacement .
  2. Remove the floor front air outlet duct if attached. Refer to Floor Front Air Outlet Duct Replacement .
  3. Remove the heater core. Refer to Heater Core Replacement .
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the left air temperature actuator, the evaporator sensor and reposition.
  5. Remove the 10 HVAC case screws and separate the case to expose the evaporator temperature sensor. Refer to Air Distributor Case Replacement (Center)  or Air Distributor Case Replacement (Left)  or Air Distributor Case Replacement (Right) .

Procedure

  1. Install the evaporator temperature sensor in the original location within the core.
  2. Ensure all seals and gaskets are in position upon installation.
