Removal Procedure

  1. Disable the SIR. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .

  3. Move the front seat forward in order to access the front seat track trim cover (1,2).
  4. Remove the seat track trim covers (1,2) from the seat track.

  6. Remove the seat belt anchor trim cover (1).

  8. Remove the front seat bolts (2) from the front seat (1).
  9. Remove the front seat belt anchor from the seat. Refer to Seat Belt Retractor Pretensioner Replacement - Front .
  10. Disconnect the seat electrical connectors.

  12. With the aid of an assistant, tilt the seat up in the rear and slide rearward to disengage the seat (1) from the floor to remove from the vehicle.
