Piston Oil Cooling Nozzle Installation

  1. Install the piston oil cooling nozzle.

    NOTE: The piston oil cooling nozzle must be aligned to direct oil towards the oil inlet hole on the bottom of the piston. Improper alignment of the piston oil cooling nozzle will allow insufficient oil lubrication to the piston and cause severe engine damage.
    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  3. Install the piston oil cooling nozzle bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the piston oil cooling nozzle bolts to 21 N.m (15 lb ft).
