Preliminary Procedure: Remove the rear propeller shaft. Refer to One-Piece Propeller Shaft Replacement or Two-Piece Propeller Shaft Replacement .
1	Transfer Case Output Shaft Seal Procedure Remove the seal using a flat-bladed tool. Install the seal with the notch at the top and the weep hole at the bottom using DT-48021 and J 8092 . Special Tools DT-48021 Seal Installer J 8092 Drive Handle

Transfer Case Output Shaft Seal

Procedure

Remove the seal using a flat-bladed tool.
Install the seal with the notch at the top and the weep hole at the bottom using DT-48021 and J 8092 .
