Removal Procedure

  1. Loosen the air cleaner outlet resonator clamp (1) at the mass air flow (MAF)/intake air temperature (IAT) sensor.
  2. Remove the air cleaner outlet resonator from the MAF/IAT sensor.

  3. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (1) from the MAF/IAT sensor.

  4. Remove the air cleaner by pulling upward until the mounting studs are free from the grommets.
