Installation Procedure

  1. Install the engine mount bracket to the vehicle.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the M 10 engine mount bracket mounting bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 60 N.m (44 lb ft).

  3. Tighten the M 8 engine mount bracket mounting bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 38 N.m (28 lb ft).

  4. Remove the screw jack.

  5. Install the upper engine mount retaining nut.

    Tighten:  Tighten the nut to 80 N.m (59 lb ft).

  6. Install the right exhaust manifold. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Removal - Right (RWD) or Exhaust Manifold Removal - Right (AWD) in Engine Exhaust.
  7. Lower the vehicle.
