Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Place a suitable container under the engine in order to drain the oil.
  3. Remove the oil drain plug.

  5. Drain the engine oil.
  6. Remove the lower oil pan. Refer to Oil Pan Replacement - Lower .
  7. Remove the oil level sensor clip (3).
  8. Remove the oil level sensor bolt (2) and sensor (1).
