Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 8 other vehicles, including the 2004 GMC Yukon XL, 2004 GMC Yukon, 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe, 2004 Chevrolet Suburban, and 2004 Chevrolet Avalanche. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the hose as necessary.
  2. Install the vent hose to the throttle body and the valve rocker arm cover.

  3. Install the PCV hose to the intake manifold and valve rocker arm cover.

  4. Install the engine sight shield. Refer to Engine Sight Shield Replacement (4.8L, 5.3L, and 6.0L (RPO LQ4))  or Engine Sight Shield Replacement (6.0L (RPO LQ9)) .
