Installation Procedure

  1. Install the transfer case shield.

    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the transfer case shield mounting nuts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the transfer case shield mounting nuts to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).

  3. Lower the vehicle. Refer to LIFTING AND JACKING THE VEHICLE in General Information.
