Shock Absorber Replacement: Removal

  1. Raise the vehicle. Remove the shock absorber upper nut. Remove the shock absorber lower mounting nut and the bolt (left hand).
  2. Remove the shock absorber lower mounting bolt, the nut, and park brake cable bracket (right hand). Remove the shock absorber from the vehicle. See Fig 1.
