Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the instrument panel assembly. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  2. Remove the heater module from the instrument panel. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  3. Remove the mode actuator. Refer to MODE ACTUATOR REPLACEMENT in HVAC Systems - Manual.
  4. Remove the mode door (2) from the heater module (1).
