Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to ENGINE CONTROLS - REMOVAL & INSTALLATION in Engine Controls - 4.3L.
  2. Remove the upper fan shroud. Refer to FAN SHROUD REPLACEMENT - UPPER in Engine Cooling.
  3. Remove the vacuum hoses from the vacuum tank.

  4. Remove the vacuum tank mounting screws.

  5. Remove the vacuum tank.
