Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the IP cluster trim plate. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) CLUSTER in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  2. Remove the retaining screw from the left edge of the HVAC control assembly.

  3. Pivot the HVAC control assembly form the IP.
  4. Remove the HVAC control assembly from the IP in order to access the vacuum and the electrical connectors.
  5. Disconnect the following items from the HVAC control assembly:
    • The electrical connectors
    • The vacuum connectors
