Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the following items to the HVAC control assembly:
    • The vacuum connectors
    • The electrical connectors

  2. Align the tab on the HVAC control assembly with the slot in the IP.
  3. Install the HVAC control assembly to the IP.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  4. Install the screw to the HVAC control assembly.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screw to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  5. Install the IP cluster trim plate. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) CLUSTER in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
