Oil Pan Installation - Lower

  1. Apply a 2-3 mm wide by 0.5-1.5 mm high bead of P/N 97720043 sealant to the lower oil pan mating surface.

  3. Install the lower oil pan.

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  5. Install the lower oil pan bolts and nuts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the lower oil pan bolts and nuts in sequence to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  7. Connect the oil level sensor.
