Installation Procedure

Install the crossmember to the vehicle.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the bolts retaining the crossmember to the frame.
Tighten: Tighten the crossmember retaining bolts to 120 N.m (88 lb ft).

Install the differential carrier shield. Refer to Shield Replacement in Front Drive Axle.
Lower the vehicle.
