Installation Procedure

  1. Install the auxiliary oil cooler to the vehicle.

  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the bolts (1) to the radiator brace.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 12 N.m (106 lb in).

  4. Install the push pins (2) to the radiator brace.
  5. Connect the transmission oil cooler lines to the auxiliary cooler. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Line Quick Connect Fitting .
  6. Install the grille assembly. Refer to Grille Replacement (GMC) or Grille Replacement (Chevrolet) in Exterior Trim.
