Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Install the thermostat and thermostat housing to the water pump.
  2. Install the thermostat housing bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).

  3. Install the radiator outlet hose. Refer to Radiator Hose Replacement - Outlet (4.8, 5.3, and 6.0L Engines)  or Radiator Hose Replacement - Outlet (W/HP2) .
