Installation Procedure

Install the service disconnect power cable to the fuse holder and service disconnect switch.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the service disconnect power cable nut at the service disconnect switch.
Tighten: Tighten the nut to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
Install NEW tie straps securing the power cable to the ESB.
Install the maxi-fuse. Refer to Energy Storage Box (ESB) Maxi-Fuse Replacement (5.3L Engine w/RPO HP2) .
Install the service disconnect power cable. Refer to Energy Storage Box (ESB) Service Disconnect Power Cable Replacement (5.3L Engine w/RPO HP2) .
