Installation Procedure

IMPORTANT: Ensure that the power cable is installed to the negative side of the HCC.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the service disconnect power cable (2) to the HCC and service disconnect switch.
Install the service disconnect power cable nuts (1) to the HCC and the service disconnect switch.
Tighten: Tighten the nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

Install the ESB intermediate cover. Refer to Energy Storage Box (ESB) Trim Cover Replacement (5.3L Engine w/RPO HP2) .
