Installation Procedure

Install the power cable (2) battery 2 and battery 3.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the power cable nuts (3) to battery 2 and battery 3.
Tighten: Tighten the nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
Install NEW tie straps (1) in order to secure the power cable to the ESB.

Install the ESB intermediate cover. Refer to Energy Storage Box (ESB) Trim Cover Replacement (5.3L Engine w/RPO HP2) .
