Installation Procedure

  1. Install the power cable (3) to battery 1 and battery 2.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the power cable nuts (1) to battery 1 and battery 2.

    Tighten:  Tighten the nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  3. Install the ESB intermediate cover. Refer to Energy Storage Box (ESB) Trim Cover Replacement (5.3L Engine w/RPO HP2) .
