Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the maxi-fuse. Refer to Energy Storage Box (ESB) Maxi-Fuse Replacement (5.3L Engine w/RPO HP2) .
  2. Remove the fuse power cable nut (3) at the high current sensor.
  3. Cut the tie straps (4) securing the fuse power cable to the ESB.
  4. Remove the fuse power cable (2) from the fuse holder and high current sensor.
